The purpose of the new NHS Commissioning Board to use ‘the commissioning budget of around £80bn a year to secure the best possible health outcomes for patients and communities.’ The Board will also directly commission NHS dentistry. |

| A doorstep dental service has been launched in Worcestershire. The mobile dental unit, funded by NHS Worcestershire, was started in November 2010 and is now fully operational, serving nearly 50 care homes across the county.
