iSmile Patient Portal

iSmile Patient Portal

With more and more patients having access to smart phones and emails, iSmile can cater for a completely paper free experience. With your very own branded Patient Portal, you can give your patients the ability to fill in medical history forms on their desktops, tablets and mobile devices prior to their appointment. iSmile can automatically email medical history forms to your patients, which are filled out securely online and then transmitted back to iSmile and stored within the patient's file, significantly reducing workload at reception.

Getting client feedback and disseminating the data into easy-to-understand reports is an important part of any business. Patient Portal allows you to create a patient questionnaire in iSmile which is automatically emailed to patients after their appointment. Data collected back by iSmile can then be displayed in a range of reports which allows you to analyse trends over a series of time periods and see how your business is changing, allowing you to identify where improvements can be made.

Patient Portal is upgraded with features all the time and now includes mobile signatures - there's no need to purchase clunky digital signature equipment as Patient Portal works on any tablet and any mobile phone - both inside and outside of the practice!

Introducing Patient Links from iSmile Dental

Introducing Patient Links from iSmile Dental

With more and more patients having access to smartphones and emails, it makes sense to extend your paperless system directly to your patient's mobile device. Patient Links gives your practice it's very own patient portal, allowing your patients to fill out medical history forms and patient questionnaires on their mobile phones, tablets or desktop computers.

Forms are automatically emailed to patients, allowing them to securely fill them out online prior or post appointment. Not only does this give your patients a more connected experience, it also means less hassle getting forms filled at reception.

Once the online forms are back in your practice management system they can be verified and signed by the patient using a digital signature pad. Patient Links further allows you to use your own choice of tablet (iOS orAndroid) for form filling at the practice, in case there are patients that don't have access to a mobile device.

iSmile's powerful reporting system allows you to display data from patient feedback forms in a range of formats so you can analyse trends across different time periods to see how your business's customer service is improving.

GDPUK Ltd announces sale of intellectual property to leading publisher Cogora Group

cogora

GDPUK Ltd today announces the sale of its intellectual property assets to Cogora Group, one of the UK's leading publishers of healthcare brands, events and educational platforms.

The decision to sell GDPUK’s intellectual property forms part of a considered transition to ensure the long‑term stewardship and development of the brand and associated assets. Cogora brings a wealth of experience and expertise to support the continued evolution of the dentistry brand within its wide portfolio of market-leading healthcare publications. Its award-winning titles include Pulse, a long‑standing and widely recognised source of political news and clinical education for GPs, Nursing in Practice, Management in Practice, The Pharmacist, Pulse PCN and Healthcare Leader, as well as two secondary care publications – Hospital Healthcare Europe and Hospital Pharmacy Europe. The purchase will cement Cogora as the biggest publisher of primary care titles in the UK and allow it to bring its expertise in providing news, analysis, opinion and groundbreaking stories to GDPUK, as well as continue giving dentists and dental staff a voice through its website.

“After careful consideration, we believe that Cogora is well positioned to take GDPUK’s intellectual property forward,” said Tony Jacobs, founder, editor and publisher of GDPUK.com . “This transaction provides continuity for the professional community associated with GDPUK and creates opportunities for future growth under experienced ownership.”

Tony will continue involvement in GDPUK on a consulting basis.

GDPUK Ltd has worked to ensure an orderly transfer of the intellectual property and wishes Cogora every success in its future development.
