Dr Zuk, who has written a book about his life in dentistry and celebrity teeth said: "Once I heard it was up for sale I had to have it."
It is now planned to show the tooth in his practice.
A spokesperson for Omega Auctions said: "It’s rather gruesome, yellow, browny with a cavity.
