| The General Dental Council (GDC) will hold an event for dental professionals working in and around Cardiff on May 25 at St David’s Hotel, starting at 6pm. Anyone interested in coming along is being urged to reserve their spot by booking online at www.gdc-uk.org Those attending can claim two hours of verifiable CPD for taking part in one of two workshops on offer. |

Your responsibilities as a registered dental professional
This will explore what it means to be a registered dental professional and will give an insight into the work of a GDC caseworker and Investigating Committee member.
Acting Chief Dental Officer for Wales and a member of the GDC, David Thomas said: “This GDC event in Cardiff is a valuable opportunity for registrants from across Wales to speak directly to their professional regulator. The GDC’s current review of its ‘Standards for dental professionals’ as well as ‘Scope of Practice’ documents, are just two areas on which the GDC is keen to hear from registrants.
