Changes at top for mydentist

A new Chief Executive Officer and new Chairman have been announced by mydentist. Tom Riall will take up the position of CEO on 8 May, with Mark Robson, Chief Financial Officer, taking on the role on an interim basis. They have also announced that Alan Bowkett has been appointed Chairman of the IDH Board.
Tom Riall will take up the position of CEO on 8 May, with a career spanning over 25 years in the services industry. Tom joins from the Priory Group, the leading provider of behavioural healthcare in the UK supporting the needs of more than 30,000 people each year, where he was Chief Executive. Mark Robson, Chief Financial Officer, will take on the role of interim Chief Executive until 8 May when Tom joins the business.
Alan Bowkett has been appointed Chairman of the IDH Board effective immediately. He currently chairs Avio Group, the Italian space launcher company, Diaverum, the global leading provider of renal care, and Strix, an electronic controls company and previously held chairmanships at Euromedic and McCarthy & Stone
Commenting on the appointment, Alan Bowkett said: “I am delighted to be joining the Board of a leading player in UK Healthcare Services and I look forward to working with Tom and the wider team as the business enters the next phase of its corporate life”.

At the same time, the Board thanks Terry Scicluna (outgoing CEO) for all that he achieved at IDH and wishes him success in the future.
