The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) announced that the rights to BDIA Dental Showcase have been sold for an undisclosed sum to George Warman Publications, part of the Mark Allen Group. This company, who publish Dental Update, The Dentist and other magazines, will now be running the exhibition once this year’s event is over.
BDIA President, Mike Cann, comments, “Dental Showcase will benefit greatly from this new arrangement, providing fresh initiatives to maintain the show’s position as the market leader. Working in partnership with George Warman and The Mark Allen Group is the perfect solution. They run leading exhibitions and events across diverse sectors and I believe their experience and expertise will make BDIA Dental Showcase an event that will be the envy of most”.
Showcase will retain the name "BDIA Dental Showcase" for at least 5 years and the BDIA will be working closely with the new owners to provide the best possible event for both exhibitors and visitors in the future. No doubt there will be innovations and a more commercial feel.
Stuart Thompson, Managing Director of George Warman Publications, adds, “Running the exhibition in conjunction with the BDIA is a perfect addition to our dental product portfolio and I am delighted to have this opportunity to work closely with BDIA Showcase visitors and exhibitors to develop and grow the exhibition in these exciting times”.
This year's event at ExCeL London will close on Saturday 8th October at 5pm.
