Record visitors for GDPUK site

Dental website, for UK dentists and their teams, GDPUK.com had a record month in January 2016 with 44,492 unique visitors who made 153,880 visits to the site. This surpassed GDPUK's previous record of 39,304 uniques and 139k total visitors in December 2014.
During January, GDPUK's Twitter followers also reached a significant milestone, passing 5,000. Follow us @GDPUKcom
GDPUK forum also hit new milestones during rainy January, see below, when the Forum went past 20,000 topics created.
GDPUK was founded by Manchester dentist Tony Jacobs in 1997 and has grown every single month since then. GDPUK team is certain this site, by dentists and for dentists, has the greatest reach into the UK dental profession
- GDPUK News items have an average or 2,000 readers, around 20 news items published per month.
- GDPUK Forum, the cornerstone of the site, passed 20,000 topics during January. Those topics have had over 220,000 replies posted on our forums, since moving to this dotcom site in 2008
- Featured blogs, effectively our columnists, gain an average of around 4,000 readers for each article, we publish around 12 per month, with some new writers on board. @DentistGoneBadd writes a comedy blog every week, this gets 5,000 and upwards readers every week - in the last year over 250k of her or his unique visual dental comedy blogs were read on the GDPUK.com site.
- Our emails to forum subscribers, the digest version, are opened over 145,000 times per month, that is 4,500 times per day, in addition to the number of web pages we celebrate above.
