Bridge2Aid reaches milestone

The charity, during its training programme in Shinyanga region, has reached a milestone. They trained our 300th Health Worker and subsequently created access to emergency dental care for over 3 million people in East Africa. Funds continue to come in for their urgent appeal; they have raised £42,000, close to their target of £50,000.

Bridge2Aid writes: ‘Following the successful programme in Shinyanga, we currently have a team in a new area of Manyara region, in Babati district, training 6 more Health Workers. As you can tell, it’s a busy few months and we’re really grateful for your continued support at this time. Next week we’ll be exhibiting at the Dentistry Show. If you’re attending please visit our stand – you can find us on G10. If you haven’t yet entered our competition to win gold Unity Partnership for your organisation - worth £3000 - there’s still time! Entries will be accepted until Friday 28th and we will announce the winner on Saturday 1st March. Look out for Bridge2Aid’s sea of pink on the Saturday too – it’s going to be great fun!’
