BDA to make staff redundant

Last Monday the BDA sent its staff a consultation letter as the first stage in making widespread redundancies. GDPUK believes this has been brought about as a result of the new three-tier membership system introduced in June. Overwhelmingly members have chosen the cheapest option, causing a substantial reduction in subscription income allegedly amounting to millions of pounds.
The BDA turnover is around £12m and the shortfall is rumoured to be over £3m, putting many membership services at risk of budget reduction.
