Bridge2Aid reports on a busy month
Bridge2Aid reports that it has been a busy week in the B2A offices - both UK and Tanzania, Their work diaries were full as well as World Oral Health Day (WOHD) on Wednesday 20th March. They also report on activity in Mwanza and fund-raising activity in the UK.

B2A reports ‘This year, the theme of WOHD was 'Healthy teeth for a healthy life' - reflecting the major contribution oral health makes to our lives.  To celebrate, DVPer Elaine Gaffney shared her thoughts on WOHD in a B2A blog and CEO Mark Topley asked if people really die from tooth decay in British Dental Health Foundation's Word of Mouth Magazine.  Sadly, they do, and both blogs provide an overwhelming insight into how oral health can have such an impact on daily lives.

‘We're pleased to announce (after an incredibly long delay) that the container arrived in Mwanza this week.  The TZ team has had an interesting few days - the delivery truck was too wide to negotiate the office road - but thankfully help was at hand and now the team can concentrate on sorting through the stock and packing it for future DVPs.  In other TZ news,Dr Paul Brind visited Sengerema this week whilst Joyce and Nizar travelled to Dodoma - both trips in preparation for forthcoming training programmes.  As promised, we'll be reporting on our successful Phase 2 programme shortly.

‘As we approach the end of the month, there is still time to take part in the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's (BACD) March Whitening Drive. Over £2000 has been raised so far - an incredible amount - and we thank all BACD Dentists for their support.’
