Stephen qualified in London and spent the first few years of his career working in various OMFS units. He had his own practice in Oxford before starting work for Dental Protection in 2000. In 2018 he moved to MDDUS where latterly he was the head of the Dental Division. Since leaving MDDUS in the autumn of 2023 he has been working as an independent dental adviser. He is a Specialist in Oral Surgery and has many years of experience in assisting members of the dental team with regulatory cases, complaints and claims in negligence in the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong Singapore and Malaysia.
NHSE suddenly announced on 12th April that it had decided to cut the funding for secondary care practitioners accessing NHS Practitioner Health with immediate effect. This decision shocked the medical and dental profession, particularly those who have used the service or have recommended the service to colleagues.
