Ian is a Specialist Periodontist working in between Rose Lane Dental Practice in Liverpool and Clinic 334 in Wilmslow. He holds a Senior Clinical Teacher in Periodontics post at Liverpool University.

Some of you will have met Ian on one of the many courses he runs around the UK with his good friend, Phil Ower and the www.periocourses.co.uk team, and they teach the periodontal component of the Royal College of Surgeons Restorative Diploma.

Ian has lectured at most of the UK’s major dental events including the British Dental Association Conference, the British Society of Restorative Dentistry annual conference, the British Society of Dental Hygienist and Therapists national meeting and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

He has served on the Council of the British Society of Periodontology as their Honorary Editor and Webmaster and is part of their lecturing faculty.

Ian also co-runs an innovative teaching company in Liverpool, IDEAL www.idealdentalcourses.co.uk, that provides training in perio, implants, sedation and their flagship Restorative Year Course.
