Missing Hull woman: dentist husband charged

The husband of a missing Hull woman has appeared in court to face charges. Renata Antczak, 49, was last seen near her home in Hull after dropping her daughter off at school on 25 April. Her dentist husband Majid Mustafa, 47, is accused of conspiracy to administer a noxious substance to Mrs Antczak. Police said they were still treating her disappearance as "a missing person inquiry".

Mr Mustafa and Robert Lipinski, 45, are also charged with conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent to Dariusz Kleinert. Mr Lipinski also faces one count of conspiracy to administer a noxious substance to Mrs Antczak and another victim, his wife, Anna Lipinski.

Both men appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court earlier. They were remanded in custody and will appear before Hull Crown Court on 19 June. Police investigating Ms Antczak's disappearance have searched a number of addresses in the city. A police spokeswoman said the charges against the two men emerged as part of the investigation.
