BDA launches survey to find out what members want

The British Dental Association (BDA) has launched the largest membership engagement programme in its history.  BDA Chair Mick Armstrong said it was the BDA’s job to fight their members’ corner. They wanted to know where members stand on the big issues. “We want their views on how we’re doing, and where we can do more”, he added.

With dentists across the UK facing huge challenges including a new government, overregulation and economic uncertainty, every BDA member has been sent a unique URL, seeking detailed feedback on their personal priorities and support requirements. The BDA will be using the responses to shape and enhance the support it provides to all dentists, across the nations and in different fields of practice.

BDA Chair Mick Armstrong said: “The BDA is the trade union and professional association for dentists, and it’s our job to fight their corner and to provide the support they need. So we want to know where our members stand on the big issues. We want their views on how we’re doing, and where we can do more. Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and I hope each and every one of them takes this opportunity to have their say. My message is simple: check your inbox and take part. This is your chance to shape the future of your association.”
