First ever national Bridge2Aid day this year

First ever national Bridge2Aid day this year

‘Smile in pink for Bridge2Aid’ will take place on Friday June 6th in partnership with the British Dental Health Foundation and National Smile Month, and they are asking practices and organisations to do just that – wear pink for one day to raise awareness of international oral health and Bridge2Aid work in developing nations. It really is that simple!

Bridge2Aid writes: ‘Continuing the pink theme and following the success of our Sea of Pink during the Dentistry Show earlier this month, we’re delighted to announce that once again we turned the hall pink for one day during the British Dental Conference and Exhibition in Manchester. On Saturday 12th April a number of exhibitors wore pink polo shirts and we really hope that you can show your support and join in the fun too.

‘You may have previously heard of our practice based in Mwanza, Tanzania. HOPE dental practice operates on a unique self-funding basis and donates all profits for the charitable purposes of our training programmes in East Africa. Currently, HOPE is based in a business centre of a hotel. It has no control over its premises which are unfortunately in a condition no longer fit for purpose. For this reason we have responded with a project plan to relocate the practice in order to increase Hope’s contribution to Bridge2Aid.’
