No comments| The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) is considering undertakings offered by Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH) and Associated Dental Practices (ADP) in relation to their merger, in lieu of a reference to the Competition Commission. In order to remedy competition concerns, the parties have offered to divest their practices and NHS contracts in the local areas in which the OFT identified concerns. |

Dentists who volunteered as pilots for the new contract are fed up with the lack of information coming from their PCTs. A source told GDPUK that he has no idea how much he will be paid per patient under capitation and has been given little time to study the contract. Like some of his colleagues he is thinking of withdrawing from the scheme. |
