Applicants to dental foundation training who are on the waiting list for places have been urged by the BDA to keep a close eye on their email accounts from 1 July onwards. That’s when the second round of allocations will take place, and with a limited response window of 48 hours. Candidates who fail to accept the offers within the allocated timeframe will lose their chance of a place for this year and thus be unable to practise in the NHS for the immediate future.
