BDA says 400,000 boys are at risk of cancer

Secrecy and false assumptions leave boys at risk as Government advisors downplay cancer risk and ignore sexual habits of ‘Tinder Generation’ says the BDA. The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) are using opaque and apparently flawed modelling as a basis to reject blanket vaccinations against the human papillomavirus (HPV).

NHS Digital releases figures for 2016/17

NHS Digital has released statistics for the year 2016/17 in England. It shows a 0.6% increase in courses of treatment delivered, but over half a million fewer UDAs. 24,007 dentists performed NHS activity, a decrease of 0.3%, of these 84% were associates. 22.2 million adult patients were seen by an NHS dentist, (51.4% of adults) and 6.8  million children (58.2%).

Ex-dentist carried on working despite erasure

A former dentist treated 1,500 patients while she was unregistered the GDC told a magistrates court. Eleni Kalamara pleaded guilty to five charges of carrying out dentistry illegally following an investigation and prosecution by regulators the General Dental Council. She was fined £500 for each offence, £2,500 in total, and ordered to pay court costs of £2,218.
