Kathryn Woolass takes over at Dentists’ Provident

Kathryn took over as Chairman of the Board of Dentists Provident at the end of May. He takes over from Mr Martin Mace, who has been in the role since 1998 and a member of the Board since 1982. Although Martin has retired from the role of Chairman, he will remain a member of the Board for a further year. Kathryn Woolass has been a Non-Executive Director of Dentists’ Provident since 1984 and has also served on the Audit and Risk Committees. Dr Woolass is a specialist orthodontic practitioner in South Yorkshire, an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons for the Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy and past Treasurer and Chair of the Rotherham Local Dental Committee. She is also a past member of the South Yorkshire Council of the British Dental Association, past Secretary of the South Yorkshire British Society for Paediatric Dentistry, past Secretary of the Local Orthodontic Committee of the South Yorkshire Strategic Health Authority, past Postgraduate Dental Tutor for Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham and past member of the Rotherham Oral Health Advisory Group.
